This is the question we are asked most, and it is a fair one.
The track is measured to the run, mounted tight along the roof edge or trim, and chosen to sit with the colour of your fascia. Seen from the street it reads as a line of trim rather than as lighting. During your consultation we will point out exactly where it would sit on your house so there are no surprises.

You receive a written plan and quote covering the runs, the mounting approach, and the schedule. Nothing proceeds until you are comfortable.

Installation & walkthrough
Our installers complete the work and tidy the site, then walk you through the controls so you can run the system with confidence.

Will the system be visible during the day?
The intent of a permanent system is that it reads as part of the building rather than as decoration. The track is installed tight to the roof edge or trim line and follows the existing architectural lines, and colour matching is chosen to suit your fascia and soffit. During your consultation we will walk the property and show you exactly where the track would sit before anything is installed.
Can I use the lights throughout the year?
Yes. Most owners run a soft warm white for everyday evenings, then change the look for holidays, birthdays, a game day, or a summer gathering on the patio. That year-round use is the main reason people choose a permanent system over putting lights up and taking them down each season.
Can permanent lighting handle Canadian winters?
Permanent exterior lighting is designed to stay on the building through every season, including snow, ice, and freeze-and-thaw cycles. Manufacturer temperature and weather ratings vary by product, so we will provide the published ratings for the exact system we recommend for your property.
Why not just buy a do-it-yourself kit?
A kit still leaves you on a ladder, measuring runs, cutting to length, managing power and corners, and returning to fix anything that shifts. A professionally designed and installed system is measured to the property, mounted cleanly along the architectural lines, wired and terminated properly, and supported afterwards.
Will the installation damage my home?
The track is fastened along the roof edge or trim using methods suited to your specific fascia, soffit, or masonry. We review the mounting approach with you before installation and finish the work so the hardware sits flush and tidy. If your property has an unusual surface, we will tell you before the work starts.
